Who is ROAR?
The Regional Officers of Admissions of The Rockies (ROAR) is composed of college admissions professionals who represent colleges and universities outside the state of Colorado. Members work closely with students and families in Colorado while partnering with high school and independent counselors throughout the state. All of these out-of-state institutions are RMACAC and/or NACAC members and have dedicated the necessary resources to have a regional office to serve Coloradans by providing information on out-of-state educational opportunities.
What is our mission?
ROAR’s mission is to serve as a resource for college-going students, their families and counselors, and other educational partners, while also providing opportunities for professional development and personal growth to our regional representative members.
ROAR members:
ROAR members:
- Provide education, advocacy, and resources for Colorado students, families, and counselors in their pursuit of higher education regardless of high school resources, destination, or interest in our individual institutions.
- Work collaboratively toward common goals, rather than in competition with each other.
- Support fellow regional admission representatives both professionally and personally.
